TORONTO, ON – August 25, 2015 | Local steampunk author Rebecca Diem will make her first appearance at Fan Expo™ Canada September 3-6 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.

Following a tri-city launch tour for the second book in her Tales of the Captain Duke series, From Haven to Hell, Diem is excited to share her experience with fellow steampunk fans and aspiring authors at the Words Driven By Steam panel (Saturday, 4:15 PM in Room 703).

“Everyone has a story. I’m so pleased to be sharing mine with a hometown crowd!” said Diem.

Fan Expo-ers can find Diem all weekend at Booth 4712 with the Toronto Steampunk Society.

The Tales of the Captain Duke is a rollicking, steampunk adventure series set in an alternate Victorian era with filled with airships, pirates, and a stowaway debutante.
